LINDA EISENBERG
ASID, IIDA
Linda Eisenberg has over 20 years of experience in both residential and commercial design. Furthermore she is a professional member of the American Society of Interior Design (ASID) and a member of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA). In October of 2005, Linda won two Design in Excellence Awards from the Illinois Chapter of ASID (American Society of Interior Design). One award was for a Singular Residential Space and the other award for a Residential Space over 3,000 square feet.
After graduating from Interior Design at Algonquin College in Ottawa, Canada, Linda was a junior designer for Paul Saunders Interior Design. Linda then worked as a senior designer for the Canadian Federal Government, where she was responsible for redesigning office spaces and facilitating large relocations for organizations with many government office buildings, including executive offices and the Ottawa International Airport.
In more recent years, after relocating to the Chicago area, Linda has become a prominent residential designer. She has completed many projects in private residences on Chicago’s North Shore. Her interiors vary from single rooms to entire homes, encompassing all aspects of design from floor plans to furniture, fabrics, and finish selections through final installation. She works with builders on their spec homes; finalizing every element for the finished product, from adjusting the architectural drawings through selecting cabinetry, flooring, light fixtures, tile and paint. In addition, Linda has taught adult interest classes in Interior Decorating. Most recently for the Hadassah office in Highland Park, IL, she provided them with pro bono work.
Linda believes that the space belongs to the client and should reflect their lifestyle and personal preferences. She prides herself on her ability to provide her clients with as little or as much direction as they desire. She finds it fascinating to begin new projects and watch them develop into new and exciting spaces. Linda makes it her business to stay current and attend furniture markets. Her expertise, professionalism and personality makes clients comfortable and confident.
