Collaborate Design Studio sponsored a tee for the fourteenth annual K.I.D.S.S. for Kids Golf Outing, held in June at the Twin Orchard Country Club in Long Grove. K.I.D.D.S. for Kids, Inc. (Kindness Is Doing Something Special for Kids), is an Auxiliary of The Children’s Memorial Hospital, and is an all-volunteer, non-profit organization. The money raised at the golf outing helps with the hospital’s various Family Support Services which focus on the emotional well-being of patients and their families. These programs range from therapeutic play, socialization and specialized education for children with serious illnesses to the emotional and spiritual healing provided by Heartlight, one of the nation’s premier family bereavement programs.
