Cheryl Kling
ASID
Award winning and published designer, Cheryl Kling has over 20 years of experience in residential and commerical interior design. In October of 2004, Cheryl won the Illinois Chapter of ASID (American Society of Interior Design), Design Excellence Award for Singular Residential Space. Also, in 2005, she won the Illinois Chapter of ASID Award for a Residence over 3000 square feet. Cheryl’s diverse design expertise includes retail, healthcare, hospitality, daycare, commerical and residential design.
As Director of Design for Sterling Inc, the $2 billion parent company of Kay Jewelers, Cheryl created all store interior concepts, as well as the design for 300,000 square foot corporate facility. She was recognized for innovative designs and received many awards for her work. Cheryl transitioned into residential interiors by consulting with Sterling’s executives on their homes. Cheryl is an Allied Member of ASID (American Society of Interior Designer).
As a residential interior designer, Cheryl embraces creativity, exploration and growth for each client. She designs interiors that result in a unique home, reflecting the client’s personal styles. Drawing upon her years of experience, Cheryl is able to create interiors that are visually exciting and comfortable. With emphasis on detail, Cheryl is able to build her client’s trust and successfully combining design and innovation while balancing creativity and practicality.
Cheryl’s expertise allows her to influence all phases of design projects from conceptual plans and interior architecture, to finished concepts and interior decor. She is open minded to different design solutions, and is ready to transform her client’s visions into reality.
